An intelligence workspace for Michigan politics, conceived and built from the ground up.
Overview
Full product concept and site build for an intelligence workspace for Michigan politics. Bills, campaign finance, lobbying, and legislators joined via queryable databases and cross-domain joining graphs.
Michigan politics is cutthroat, and information is the key lever for politicos, lobbyists, and corporate vendors alike. With only one established competitor in the state-level political intelligence space, BobbyCorp identified a market ripe for disruption.
We designed and built a political intelligence dashboard for Michigan politics from the ground up. Branded Tuebor Intel, after the Michigan motto phrase meaning "I shall defend," we built out a defense tech aesthetic with hard edged mono fonts, dynamic interfaces and sharp lines.
We surfaced the data, and structured it into objects and categories linked dynamically with powerful cross-domain joining features. The site features interactive charts, including full money flows of PAC money through to legislators, and the bills they sponsor. Bill tracking and alerts, the core competitive feature, were implemented from the start.
An AI-written newsletter, with a backend system for editorial review, was designed for sending out daily reports updating subscribers on the latest happenings in Lansing.
Tuebor Intel is currently pre-launch, running a closed user testing beta.
